From Mindat.Org Photo Of The Day; November 29, 2016:

Graphite: C

Locality: Lin-yaung-chi (Bright Light Rays), Mogok Valley, Mogok Township, Pyin-Oo-Lwin District, Mandalay Division, Myanmar

Dimensions: eleven.7cm x 9.8cm x 6.2cm

“One of many specimens I used to be capable of deliver out of Myanmar through the 4th Annual Mindat Convention. I collected this at one of many Spinel mines we went to go to. Because of Don Doell who let me whack on a big marble boulder he discovered on the website, I used to be capable of escape this specimen with a superb sized graphite crystal mendacity flat on the matrix. Different graphite crystals are dispersed on each side of the specimen. Graphite was not listed as a mineral from this locality so I added it.” John Montgomery
