Sea cave preserves 5,000-yr snapshot of tsunamis

Scientists digging in a sea collapse Indonesia have found the world’s most pristine report of tsunamis, a 5,000-yr-previous sedimentary snapshot that reveals for the primary time how little is understood about when earthquakes set off large waves.
